Driven by a quest for self-discovery, wellness, and meaningful connections, Amina’s journey began when she scanned her first Anima Card—the Caribbean. Seeking warmth and rejuvenation, she found herself embracing the laid-back charm and turquoise waters of Crane Beach in Barbados, knowing the islands of St. Vincent & The Grenadines, Dominica, Turks & Caicos, and Grenada still awaited her exploration.
Her love for anime and Japanese culture led her next to Japan, where she immersed herself in the profound wisdom of Ikigai in Okinawa’s Blue Zone, forging friendships that would last through future adventures. In Peru, initially an unexpected choice, Amina discovered a deep connection to the ancestral rhythms of Pacha Mama, gaining clarity among Machu Picchu’s ancient ruins. In Iceland, Amina focused on wellness and nature, experiencing the purest waters, thermal springs, and breathtaking landscapes that reminded her of our delicate harmony with Earth.
Costa Rica continued her Blue Zone exploration, deepening her understanding of the Pura Vida lifestyle alongside like-minded friends, combining thrilling adventures with tranquil moments in nature. Returning home to Canada, Amina realized the beauty of exploring her own backyard, each season offering new wonders. At Yoho Lake, she discovered something unexpected—a deeper bond blossoming from friendship to romance, in a quiet "Red Chair Moment."
